Evaluación de impacto ambiental del manejo de Residuos Sólidos Urbanos en Centro Ciudad Holguín

Abstract

El manejo inadecuado de los residuos sólidos urbanos por el crecimiento de la población de las ciudades y la modificación de los patrones de consumo asociados a su calidad de vida, constituye una gran preocupación ambiental y de salud. El incumplimiento de su ciclo de vida junto con los cambios en su composición físico- química, provocan el deterioro de los factores ambientales suelo, aire, agua y paisajes, sin embargo, no se han realizado estudios que permitan identificar el grado de incidencia de los impactos, ni determinar cuál es el más afectado, para minimizar las afectaciones provocadas. Es por ello que el objetivo de la investigación es realizar la evaluación de impacto ambiental de los residuos sólidos urbanos en el Centro Ciudad Holguín para mitigar el deterioro de la calidad de vida de sus habitantes y visual del entorno urbano. El presente trabajo de diploma se propuso aplicar a la gestión ambiental un procedimiento a través del ciclo de vida de los residuos sólidos urbanos que permita minimizar los impactos negativos y mejorar el estado ambiental. La solución del problema de la investigación y el cumplimiento del objetivo fue posible con la implementación de un sistema de métodos de la investigación científica de naturaleza teórica y empírica.

The inadequate handling of the urban solid residuals for the growth of the population of the cities and the modification of the consumption patterns associated to its quality of life, constitutes a great environmental concern and of health. The nonfulfillment of their cycle of life together with the changes in their composition physique - chemistry, they cause the deterioration of the factors environmental floor, air, dilutes and landscapes, however, they have not been carried out studies that allow to identify the grade of incidence of the impacts, neither to determine which it is the most affected one, to minimize the provoked affectations. It is for it that the objective of the investigation is to carry out the evaluation of environmental impact of the urban solid residuals in the Center City Holguín to mitigate the deterioration of the quality of its inhabitants' life and visual of the urban environment. The present diploma work intended to apply to the environmental administration a procedure through the cycle of life of the urban solid residuals that allows to minimize the negative impacts and to improve the environmental state. The solution of the problem of the investigation and the execution of the objective was possible with the implementation of a system of methods of the scientific investigation of theoretical and empiric nature
