Evaluación del desempeño empresarial mediante un cuadro de mando integral. Aplicación: Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca

Abstract

El óptimo desempeño empresarial representa el principal reto al que se enfrentan las empresas a nivel mundial. Cuba, inmersa actualmente en el proceso de actualización de su modelo económico, no escapa a esta realidad; lucha por elevar el desempeño de sus organizaciones; exigiendo que sean cada vez más eficaces y eficientes al satisfacer las demandas del entorno. Y dentro de esto, el sector del turismo como uno de los pilares fundamentales de la economía cubana actual, no queda exento. Por tal motivo se decidió realizar esta investigación que tiene como objetivo desarrollar un Cuadro de Mando Integral que permita evaluar el desempeño del sistema empresarial del Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca. Para dar cumplimiento al objetivo propuesto se elaboró el marco teórico referencial de la investigación donde se recogen los elementos fundamentales que permiten adentrarse en el tema de estudio, y se emplearon diferentes métodos teóricos como: análisis y síntesis, inducción-deducción y sistémico estructural; además métodos empíricos tales como: encuesta, observación directa e indirecta, tormenta de ideas y revisión documental. Se diseñó un sistema de indicadores que brinda solución al problema profesional como parte del Cuadro de Mando Integral. La aplicación del mismo en el Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca permitió analizar el desempeño de la entidad y proponer acciones para mejorar esta.

The optimal entrepreneurial performance represents the principal challenge to which the worldwide companies are confronted. Cuba, immersed at present in the process of bringing up to date its economic model, does not escape this reality; it struggles to raise the performance of its organizations; demanding that they be more and more efficacious and efficient when fulfilling the requests of its social environment. And there into, the sector of tourism, as one of the fundamental pillars of the present -day Cuban economy, is not exempted. Therefore, it was decided to accomplish this investigation that aims at developing a Comprehensive Panel Board that allows evaluating the entrepreneuri al system of the Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca. To give fulfillment to the proposed objective, a theoretic referential frame was elaborated where are included all the fundamental elements that allow going deep into the subject matter. Different theoretic metho ds were used such as: Analysis and synthesis, induction-deduction and the structural systemic. Besides empiric methods such as: the poll, direct and indirect observation, storm of ideas and documentary revision. A system of indicators was designed to offer a solution to the professional problem as part of the Comprehensive Panel Board. The application of it in the Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca allowed examining the performance of the entity and proposing actions to improve it.
