Análisis crítico del índice de precios al consumidor en la República de Angola

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar críticamente el Índice de Precio al Consumidor en la República de Angola y proponer acciones de mejoras para hacerlo más objetivo y flexible, que contribuya a incrementar su representatividad, confiabilidad, eficiencia y pertinencia. Los resultados obtenidos brotan del análisis realizado por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística, a partir de la confección de la canasta familiar y la contribución de cada provincia. Se detectan debilidades en la selección de la población y de los productos para formar la canasta familiar, la inclusión de la población rural, así como la selección del año base. Las recomendaciones hechas pueden ser de utilidad para el INE de Angola.

The objective of the present investigation is to analyze the Index of Price critically to the Consumer in the Republic of Angola and to propose actions of improvements to make it more objective and more flexible that contributes to increase its representativeness, dependability, efficiency and relevancy. The obtained results spring from the analysis carried out by the National Institute of Statistic, starting from the making of the family basket and the contribution of each county. Weaknesses are detected in the population's selection and of the products to form the family basket, the rural population's inclusion, as well as the selection of the year bases. The made recommendations can be being of utility for the INE of Angola.
