Propuesta de variantes para la evacuación de las aguas residuales en la Ciudad de Holguín

Abstract

El agua constituye un elemento indispensable para la vida; debido a esto en la antigüedad los asentamientos se realizaban cerca de ríos y arroyos. A la evacuación de las aguas residuales domésticas e industriales, con el transcurrir de los años, no se le dio la atención requerida lo que trajo como consecuencia la contaminación de ríos, mares y el manto freático. La ciudad de Holguín, no está exenta de esto, es por eso que solo el 41% de la población cuenta con sistema de alcantarillado, el resto vierte a fosas o a los ríos Jigüe, Marañón y Holguín; propiciando así constante peligro a la vida humana y severas repercusiones al medio ambiente. La no existencia de una adecuada evacuación de las aguas residuales en la ciudad de Holguín constituye el fundamento de la presente investigación. Con la implementación del software AutoCAD y de métodos de investigación científica de naturaleza teórica y empírica, se obtuvieron tres propuestas de variantes cada una con tratamiento final, en todos los casos con el empleo de plantas de tratamiento.

The water constitutes an indispensable element for life; that´s why in ancient times the civilizations were developed near to rivers and brooks. The evacuation of the domestic and industrials waste waters didn´t have the necessary attention, for that reason the contamination of rivers, seas and the subterranean waters started being bigger. Holguin, as a city, is not out of this situation, because of that only 41 % of the population counts with sewage system, and the rest has to dump to graves or to the rivers Jigüe, Marañón and Holguín; propitiating the constant risks to the human life and severe repercussions to the environmental. The nonexistence of an adequate evacuation system for the waste waters at Holguin city, constitutes the foundation of this investigation. With the implementation of the software AutoCAD and the methods of scientific investigation of theoretic and empiricist nature, it was obtained three proposals of variants each with a final treatment, in all cases with the use of sewage treatment plants.
