Diagnóstico de las potencialidades del empleo de la energía undimotriz en el Municipio de Gibara para la generación de energía eléctrica

Abstract

La generación de energía eléctrica a partir de fuentes no renovables de energía trae consigo grandes afectaciones al medio ambiente, es por ello que impera la necesidad de buscar formas alternativas de generación eléctrica, entre ellas el aprovechamiento de las olas del mar. En estudios realizados a nivel nacional Gibara aparece como una de las zonas con mayor régimen de oleaje, pero no se han realizado estudios enfocados en la determinación de su potencial energético, por lo que el objetivo de la presente investigación radica en el diagnóstico de las potencialidades de esta zona costera. Los métodos empleados durante la investigación son de naturaleza teórica, empírica y matemática – estadística.

The generation of electric power as from non renewable sources of energy brings big affectations along to the ambient midway; the need to look for alternative forms of electric generation, between them is for it prevalent the use of the waves of the sea. Gibara appears like one of the zones with bigger regimen of sea swell in studies accomplished nationally, but studies focused in the determination of his energetic potential have not come true, for that the objective of the present investigation consists in the diagnosis of the potentialities of this seashore. The methods used during investigation come from theoretic, empiricist and mathematics – statistics nature.
