Solución de cimentación ante fallas estructurales en vivienda ubicada en Tacajó, construida sobre suelo expansivo

Abstract

Las arcillas son, probablemente, los materiales geológicos más contradictorios desde el punto de vista de su utilidad en Ingeniería Civil. Son fuente inagotable de problemas de estabilidad en buen número de obras, pero constituyen por sí mismas un material de valiosas propiedades ingenieriles. En nuestro país existen numerosas edificaciones apoyadas sobre arcillas expansivas que han sido inutilizadas por no haberse adoptado soluciones de cimentación en correspondencia con el poder expansivo de éstas, es por ello que la investigación se trabajó sobre la base de este problema. En el presente trabajo se propone elaborar una solución técnica de cimentación que permita resolver las fallas estructurales existentes en la vivienda ubicada en la localidad de Tacajó, construida sobre suelo arcilloso expansivo. Para ello se analizan los aspectos principales del problema de estos suelos, la explicación del fenómeno y se realiza el diagnóstico a la edificación para determinar las causas que la afectaron. La solución de cimentación propuesta consiste en el recalce del cimiento de la vivienda utilizando un colchón de arena combinado con rajón y la estabilización del suelo con cal, constituyendo ésta un aporte importante desde el punto de vista teórico y práctico para el proceso constructivo en suelos con estas características

It is proposed elaborating a technical solution of foundation that it enable to resolve the structural existent faults into the house located at Tacajó's locality, constructed on clayey expansive ground in the present work. They examine the major issues of the problem of these grounds, the explanation of the phenomenon for it and the diagnosis to the edification to determine the causes that affected her comes true . The solution of proposed foundation consists in the underpin of the foundation of the house utilizing a mattress of sand combined with rip and the stabilization of the ground with lime, constituting this an important contribution from the theoretic point of view and pilot for the constructive process at grounds with these characteristics.
