Diagnóstico del comportamiento del entorno en Palmares Holguín utilizando el Diamante de Michael Porter

Abstract

La actividad turística es un renglón líder de la economía de Cuba que ha provocado cambios sustanciales no sólo en la infraestructura económica, sino también en la sociedad y la cultura de la isla, por lo que es imprescindible el conocimiento de todos los factores que influyen en su entorno para así lograr, a través del establecimiento de estrategias, mejoras en sus ventajas competitivas que conduzcan a resultados superiores.El presente trabajo de diploma titulado: “Diagnóstico del comportamiento del entorno en Palmares Holguín utilizando el Diamante de Michael Porter” tiene como objetivo realizar un diagnóstico para conocer el comportamiento actual del entorno general y específico a través del Diamante de Porter que facilite los procesos de planeación en la empresa. Para el logro de este objetivo se emplearon diferentes métodos empíricos y teóricos como: el histórico-lógico, el análisis y la síntesis; además de las técnicas y herramientas correspondientes, entrevistas observación directa, sesiones de trabajo en grupo y revisión de documentos. La aplicación de la metodología en el Grupo Empresarial Extrahotelero Palmares Holguín, permitió constatar que es una herramienta de utilidad práctica que facilita la proyección estratégica y como consecuencia puede ser generalizada a los distintos grupos empresariales existentes en el territorio a fin de lograr ventajas competitivas.

The tourist activity is a line leader of the economy of Cuba that has not only caused substantial changes in the economic infrastructure, but also in the society and the culture of the island, so this knowledge is indispensable for all the factors that they influence in its environment to achieve, through the establishment of strategies, improvements in its competitive advantages that lead to superior results. The objective of this Diploma work titled: “A diagnostic of the behavior of the environment in Holguin's Palmares using the Michael Porter's Diamond ” is to carry out a diagnosis of the current behavior of the general and specific environment through the Diamond of Porter that facilitates the planning processes in the company. For the achievement of this objective different empiric and theoretical methods were used as: historical-logical, analysis and synthesis; along with their techniques and corresponding tools, interviews, direct observation, group work sessions and document revision. As a result of this investigation it was determined that the application of the methodology in the Managerial Group Extrahotelero Palmares Holguin, c onstituted a tool of practical utility that facilitates the strategic projection and as a consequence it can be generalized to fit the requirements of the many different managerial groups in existence in the territory in an effort to improve its competitive advantages.
