Estudio del rendimiento agroindustrial de 4 variedades de caña de azúcar (Saccharum spp. Híbrido) en la UBPC “Oscar Blázquez” de la Empresa Azucarera Holguín en condiciones de secano

Abstract

Se estudian los resultados de las zafras 2006-2011 en la UBPC “OSCAR BLAZQUEZ” de la Empresa Azucarera Holguín, las variedades más destacadas en ton/ha fueron: C86-503, C86-12, C90-469 y C266-70 y como testigo se utilizaron la C120-78, CP5243, B7274 y C88-380, la variedad que mostró un rendimiento mayor fue la C86-503 con 41.86 ton/ha, seguida de la C86-12 con 41.06, la C90-469 con 36.9 y la C266-70 con 36.7 ton/ha. Se corroboraron los resultados obtenidos en la prueba de validación comercial, la etapa evaluada estuvo ocupada por variedades de mediano contenido azucarero, los rendimiento mostraron que en la misma medida que disminuye los % de áreas disminuye también los resultados. El deficiente manejo de las variedades ocasionó pérdidas en la unidad recomendando alcanzar un mayor % de áreas de las mismas: La C86-503 con un 20%, la C86-12 con 18.5%, la C90-469 con un 16.4% y la C266-70 con un 14.1% Las afectaciones producidas por los conceptos de manejo varietal inadecuado, % de área disminuido, quedó demostrado que la unidad dejó de producir 1157.67 ton, que equivalen a $ 120397.65 en MN dejados de ingresar a la unidad.
