Evaluación de los factores que inciden en la prolongación del intervalo parto-parto en el rebaño bovino

Abstract

Este trabajo se realizó en la Vaqueria “Islita”, del Lote 22, de la UBPC “Leonel Díaz Montero, perteneciente a la Empresa Agropecuaria “Reynerio Almaguer Paz”, ubicado en el municipio Rafael Freyre, Provincia Holguín. Esta Unidad cuenta con 161.3 ha, se evaluaron un total de 62 hembras adultas con una edad promedio de 8 años y un peso promedio de 803 Lbs de raza mestiza 5/8 H por 3/8 C, con el objetivo de determinar los factores que inciden en la prolongación del intervalo parto-parto en rebaños bovinos lecheros en el periodo correspondiente de 12 meses comprendido entre el año del año 2010 al 201 1 , resultando gestadas 34 para un 57 % y se perdieron 882 ciclos que representan 68 terneros menos, quedando demostrado que la acción del factor humano es determinante en los resultados económicos productivos obtenidos.

This work was carried out in the Dairy “Islita”, of the Lot 22, of UBPC “Leonel Díaz Montero, belonging to the Agricultural Enterprise “Reynerio Almaguer Paz”, located in the municipality Rafael Freyre, Holguín province.
