Sistema de Gestión del Programa de Patología de Cuello para el Policlínico Universitario ―Mario Gutiérrez Aldaya‖ de la provincia de Holguín

Abstract

El cáncer cervicouterino es un tipo de cáncer prevenible y tratable, siempre y cuando se detecte en un estadío precoz. La falta de acceso a los servicios de diagnóstico y tratamiento adecuados se convirtió en una causa importante de mortalidad entre las mujeres. Cuba cuenta con un Programa de Salud Pública cuyo objetivo es mantener y aumentar la salud de sus ciudadanos, donde su atención se centra en la organización y control de toda la información vinculada al Programa de Patología de Cuello (PPC) mediante el Programa de Detección Precoz del Cáncer Cervicouterino. El país posee diferentes centros especializados en este tema, uno de ellos es el Policlínico Universitario ―Mario Gutiérrez Aldaya‖ de la provincia de Holguín, brinda una amplia gama de servicios médicos especializados, dentro de los que se encuentra el PPC. Los volúmenes de información que se generan en las consultas se procesan de forma manual. Surge por ello la necesidad de manejar de una forma rápida y efectiva el flujo de la información que se crea durante la realización de este servicio en el centro. La presente investigación pretende agilizar el proceso de gestión del servicio, mediante el desarrollo de un Sistema de Gestión del Programa de Patología de Cuello, la misma está guiada por la metodología de desarrollo XP. Se utilizó el framework Django, haciendo uso del lenguaje de programación Python. Para una rápida modelación del sistema se utilizó como herramienta CASE el Visual Paradigm y como gestor de base de datos PostgreSQL.

The cancer cervicouterino is a type of cancer preventable and friendly, provided it is detected in a precocious studio. The access lack to the services of diagnostic and adapted treatment became an important cause of mortality among the women. However, Cuba has a Program of Public Health whose objective is to maintain and to increase the health of its citizens, where its attention is centered in the organization and control of all the information linked to the Program of Pathology of Neck (PPC) by means of the Program of Precocious Detection of the Cancer Cervicouterino. The country possesses different centers specialized in this topic, one of them is the Educational Policlinic "Mario Gutiérrez Aldaya" of the county of Holguín, the same one offers a wide range of specialized medical services inside which the PPC is. The volumes of information that are generated in the consultations are processed in a manual way. The necessity arises for it of managing in a quick and effective way the flow of the information that is generated during the realization of this service in the center. The present investigation seeks to speed up the process of administration of the service, by means of the development of a system of Administration of the Program of Pathology of; the same one is guided by the development methodology XP. The framework Django was used, making use of the programming language Python. For a quick modulation of the system, it was used as tool the Visual Paradigm he/she MARRIES and I eat database agent PostgreSQL.
