Análisis del desempeño empresarial en el Hotel Playa Costa Verde

Abstract

En la actualidad las organizaciones se enfrentan a un dinámico y complejo entorno. Para dar respuestas oportunas y eficaces ante las exigencias que este impone, los directivos deben trazar acciones orientadas a lograr una adecuada utilización de los recursos que disponen. Para el logro de esto, deben disponer de herramientas que contribuyan a elevar la efectividad de su proceso de toma de decisiones. En todos los sectores resulta imprescindible tener en cuenta estos elementos, destacando dentro de estos el turístico. Este sector tiene incidencia en el crecimiento económico cubano, porque constituye una de las principales fuentes de ingresos al país. La provincia de Holguín constituye el tercer polo dentro de los destinos de la isla. Como parte de las organizaciones turísticas del territorio, destaca el Hotel Playa Costa Verde del grupo Gaviota S.A. Este en el periodo del 2017 al 2019, presentó deficiencias en su funcionamiento. Debido a esto se decidió desarrollar la presente investigación con el objetivo de realizar la evaluación de su desempeño, para detectar los problemas existentes y proyectar soluciones, que contribuyan a alcanzar mejoras. Los principales problemas estuvieron relacionados en el orden técnico y organizativo, debido a déficit de piezas de repuesto, dificultades en el mantenimiento, insatisfacción con el salario y otras. En función del diagnóstico se proyectaron las alternativas de mejoras, con su correspondiente valoración económica y social. Para el logro del objetivo se utilizaron varios métodos y herramientas, entre los que se encuentran: inductivo – deductivo, análisis – síntesis, sistémico – estructural, observaciones directas, encuestas, entrevistas, etc.

This sector has an impact on Cuban economic growth, because it is one of the main sources of income for the country. The province of Holguín is the third pole within the island's destinations. As part of the tourist organizations of the territory, the Playa Costa Verde Hotel of the Gaviota S.A. This in the period from 2017 to 201 9, presented deficiencies in its operation. Due to this, it was decided to develop the present investigation with the objective of evaluating its performance, to detect existing problems and project solutions, which contribute to achieve improvements. The main problems were related in the technical and organizational order, due to shortage of spare parts, difficulties in maintenance, dissatisfaction with the salary and others. Depending on the diagnosis, the improvement alternatives were projected, with their corresponding economic and social assessment. To achieve the objective, several methods and tools were used, among which are: inductive - deductive, analysis - synthesis, systemic - structural, direct observations, surveys, interviews, etc.
