Perfeccionamiento de la gestión de almacenamiento en el Hotel “Sol Río Luna y Mares” del grupo de turismo Gaviota S.A.

Abstract

El entorno empresarial actual se caracteriza por las turbulencias que experimenta y por el aumento de la competitividad. Estos factores hacen imprescindible llevar a cabo una gestión empresarial adecuada, en el que se establezcan estrategias que les permitan a las organizaciones mejorar su posición en el mercado, y el logro de su objeto social. Para ello deben perfeccionar continuamente su sistema logístico con el objetivo de lograr un mejor desempeño; siendo esta una herramienta poderosa para alcanzar la eficiencia de los procesos que se desarrollan dentro de las diferentes instituciones. El presente trabajo investigativo realizado en el Hotel Sol Río Luna y Mares, perteneciente al Grupo de Turismo Gaviota S.A y subordinada a la Delegación Territorial Gaviota Oriente, pretende profundizar en este tema, al proponerse como objetivo aplicar un procedimiento que permita la mejora en la gestión de almacenamiento. Para la elaboración de este informe se realizó un estudio de los diferentes procesos relacionados que tienen lugar en la organización y que tributan al proceso en cuestión, con vistas a detectar las deficiencias y proponer soluciones factibles que contribuyan al perfeccionamiento de la organización. Con este fin se emplearon diferentes métodos teóricos, empíricos y estadísticos que contribuyeron al logro de la investigación. Aplicando los elementos teóricos se realizó el diagnóstico de la organización, determinando así las deficiencias existentes, y a partir de estas se elaboraron las acciones de mejora del sistema logístico en la entidad, las cuales contribuyeron en el cumplimiento del objetivo propuesto.

The current business environment is characterized by the turbulences it experiences and by the increase in competitiveness. These factors make it essential to carry out an adequate business management, in which strategies are established that allow organizations to improve their position in the market, and the achievement of their corporate purpose. For this they must continuously improve their logistics system with the aim of achieving a better performance; this is a powerful tool to achieve the efficiency of the processes that take place within the different institutions. The present investigative work carried out in the Hotel Sol Río Luna y Mares, belonging to the Gaviota SA Tourism Group and subordinated to the Gaviota Oriente Territorial Delegation, intends to deepen this topic, by proposing as its objective to apply a procedure that allows the improvement in the management storage. For the preparation of this report, a study was made of the different related processes that take place in the organization and that are taxed to the process in question, in order to detect the deficiencies and propose feasible solutions that contribute to the improvement of the organization. To this end, different theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were employed that contributed to the achievement of the research. Applying the theoretical elements, the diagnosis of the organization was made, thus determining the existing deficiencies, and from these the improvement actions of the logistic system in the entity were elaborated, which contributed in the fulfillment of the proposed objective.
