La Extensión universitaria en la formación del Licenciado en Educación Preescolar

Abstract

La Universidad, como institución cultural, contribuye a la formación socio-humanista y estimula la formación de valores que elevan la calidad de vida de los que conviven en ella, promueve cultura tanto en la comunidad intra universitaria como en la de su entorno. En correspondencia, el diseño de acciones educativas que tribute a la formación integral del estudiante al interrelacionar los procesos sustantivos de este nivel educacional, constituye el objetivo principal de la presente experiencia pedagógica que demuestra cómo la extensión universitaria se puede concebir desde lo académico, lo laboral y lo investigativo. La realización de actividades extensionistas concebidas desde la estrategia educativa y las asignaturas del plan de estudio E para la Licenciatura en Educación Preescolar en integración con la Cátedra Honorífica Manuel Ascunce Domenech, demuestran el impacto al favorecer la reafirmación profesional y el desarrollo de habilidades imprescindibles para su desempeño como educadoras de la Primera Infancia, cuyo rol protagónico posibilita que puedan utilizarlos en la solución de problemas que enfrentan en la práctica pedagógica de este nivel educacional Palabras clave: Extensión Universitaria, formación, estudiantes, Educación Preescolar

The University, as a cultural institution, contributes to the socio-humanistic formation and stimulates the formation of values that raise the quality of life of those who live in it, it promotes culture both in the intra-university community and in that of its environment. Correspondingly, the design of educational actions that contributes to the integral formation of the student by interrelating the substantive processes of this educational level, constitutes the main objective of the present pedagogical experience that shows how university extension can be conceived from the academic, the labor and the investigative. The realization of extension activities conceived from the educational strategy and the subjects of the study plan E for the Bachelor of Preschool Education in integration with the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Honorary Chair, demonstrate the impact by favoring professional reaffirmation and the development of essential skills for their performance as Early Childhood educators, whose leading role enables them to be able to use them in solving problems they face in the pedagogical practice of this educational level Keywords University Extension, training, students, Preschool Education
