Propuesta metodológica para el tratamiento de los nuevos movimientos sociales en los programas educativos.

Abstract

El estudio de los nuevos movimientos sociales, en el siglo XXI, es de vital importancia para comprender las contradicciones actuales de la sociedad capitalista, y para obtener una visión más objetiva del mundo. Además, es un tema que tiene potencialidades educativas y formativas para el trabajo político e ideológico con los estudiantes, ya que sensibiliza sobre problemas globales actuales que sufre la humanidad como: la lucha por la paz, la seguridad social, la protección a las minorías, el cese de la carrera armamentista, el peligro nuclear, y la protección al medio ambiente, sin embargo; pese a la importancia que reviste el tema, el mismo no ha sido investigado ni tratado con profundidad en los programas de estudio de la escuela cubana. Los temas que más se han acercado, lo hacen a un nivel de mención, de referencia, de manera superficial, pero no profundizan en el origen, definición, evolución, y contradicciones de estos movimientos sociales. Tampoco profundizan en la importancia de los mismos para la preservación del equilibrio naturaleza-sociedad. Por tal motivo, consideramos que existe un problema científico a resolver, el cual es: el insuficiente tratamiento al tema de los nuevos movimientos sociales limita la formación integral de los estudiantes. Es por ello que, el objetivo de esta investigación es, elaborar una propuesta metodológica para el tratamiento al tema de los nuevos movimientos sociales, en los programa de estudio de la enseñanza media, para contribuir a la formación integral de los estudiantes.

The study of the new social movements in the XXI century is of vital importance to understand the current contradictions of capitalism society, and to obtain a more objective and comprehensive vision of the world. In addition, it is a subject that has education and training potentialities for political and ideological work with students, since it raises awareness about current global problems that humanity suffers such as: the fight for piece, social security, the protection of minorities, the cessation of the arms race, the nuclear danger, and the protection of environment, however; despite the of the important of the subject, it has not been investigated or treated in the study programs of the Cuban school. The topic that have come closest do so at a level of mention, of reference, in a superficial way, but they do not delve into the origin, definition, evolution, and contradictions of these social movements. Nor do they delve into their importance for the preservation of the nature-society balance. For this reason, we consider that there is a scientific problem to be solved, which is: insufficient treatment of the issue of new social movement limits the comprehensive training of the students. That is way the objective of this research is to develop a methodological proposal for the treatment of the issue of the new social movements, in the study programs of secondary education, to contribute to the students' integral formation.
