Labor de los estudiantes de medicina holguineros en tiempos de pandemia

Abstract

Introducción: los estudiantes de medicina realizan actividades de pesquisa en todo el país, trabajan en centros de aislamientos, mesa coordinadoras, en proyectos con el objetivo de detectar de manera precoz los posibles portadores del SARS-CoV-2 y su ingreso lo más rápido posible. Objetivo: caracterizar la labor de los estudiantes de medicina holguineros en tiempos de pandemia Desarrollo: El trabajo de los estudiantes de las ciencias médicas en esta época de pandemia ha sido un gran apoyo para todo el personal de salud, trabajaron durante prácticamente dos años consecutivos en las pesquisas, participaron en los centros de vacunatorios, de aislamiento y mesas coordinadoras. El grupo científico estudiantil promulgó la investigación de esta enfermedad, se realizó el evento HolgCov 19 que constituyó el primer evento de investigación de este tema en el país y el OdontoHolguín. En la revista científica estudiantil Holcien los trabajos relacionados con el tema de la covid-19 mantuvieron prioridad. Hubo apoyo a la docencia para con los estudiantes tercer año, fundamentalmente en la asignatura de Medicina Interna. Conclusiones: Los estudiantes holguineros han desempeñado un papel fundamental en la lucha contra la covid 19, siendo la pesquisa activa, el trabajo en las zona rojas, la atención en los vacunatorios, el trabajo en las mesa coordinadoras en los distintos niveles, sus acciones principales de apoyo al sistema de salud. El grupo científico estudiantil y el movimiento de alumnos ayudantes han permitido que estos mantengan sus investigaciones y que mantengan su enriquecimiento docente en su formación.

Objective: to characterize the work of Holguin medical students in times of pandemic Development: The work of medical science students in this time of pandemic has been a great support for all health personnel, they worked for practically two consecutive years in investigations, participated in vaccination centers, isolation centers and coordinating tables. The student scientific group promulgated the investigation of this disease, the HolgCov 19 event was held, which constituted the first research event on this subject in the country and the Odontoholguín. In the student scientific magazine Holcien, works related to the subject of covid-19 maintained priority. There was support for teaching for third year students, mainly in the Internal Medicine subject. Conclusions: Holguin students have played a fundamental role in the fight against covid 19, being the active investigation, work in the red zones, attention in vaccination, work in the coordinating tables at different levels, their main actions support to the health system. The student scientific group and the movement of student assistants have allowed them to maintain their research and to maintain their educational enrichment in their training.
