Identificación de las brechas de bioseguridad en la planta de incubación Carlos Manuel de Céspedes

Abstract

Con el objetivo de identificar las brechas en la bioseguridad que favorecen la contaminación ambiental e influyen negativamente en la calidad del proceso de incubación fue seleccionada la planta “Carlos Manuel de Céspedes” del Municipio Calixto García de la Empresa Avícola de la Provincia de Holguín, dedicada a la Incubación de huevos para el remplazo de Ponedoras Ligeras de la raza Leghorn Blanca de la línea genética L33. Se definieron criterios para la toma de informaciones y diseño del contenido del informe teniendo en cuenta las principales vías de entrada de los contaminantes en las granjas de reproductoras que suministran los huevos fértiles a la planta de incubación, los resultados de los controles ambientales realizados por el grupo Diagnóstico del Laboratorio Provincial de Sanidad Animal, por un periodo de 3 años y primer trimestre del 2019, así como las principales causas de muertes en las granjas de reproductoras y en las granjas de inicio que recibieron el pollito procedente de la planta de incubación. Se identifican como brechas en la bioseguridad el pésimo estado constructivo de la instalación y el grado de deterioro de los equipos, incumplimientos con las medidas zoosanitarias y la violación en los patrones de la selección donde no deben ubicarse pollos de segunda, débiles y con onfalitis lo cual justifica la alta mortalidad en el inicio por esta causa en la primera semana de vida.
