El Desempeño Político - Social De Josefa Digna Elías Ríos 1952-1958

Abstract

Los estudios históricos realizados a partir del siglo XX en Cuba, se han acercado de manera general a la temática femenina. Aspecto que resulta de gran importancia debido a falta de información que aborde temas tan necesarios como: la lucha de las mujeres por la obtención de sus derechos, su papel en los diferentes procesos de la historia de Cuba y que nos permita analizar las problemáticas que afectaron a la mujer cubana en el siglo pasado.Por lo cual la inexistencia de un estudio sobre el desempeño político y social de Josefa Digna Elías Ríos entre 1952-1958 limita la visión holística de su trascendencia en la sociedad en Bayamo. Por lo antes expuesto esta investigación pretende un acercamiento al tema a partir del análisis de esta figura.

The historical studies carried out starting from the XX century in Cuba, they have come closer from a general way to the thematic one feminine. Aspect that is of great importance due to lack of information that approaches topics so necessary as: the fight of the women for the obtaining of their rights, their paper in the different processes of the history of Cuba and that it allows us to analyze the problems that affected the Cuban woman in last century. Reason why the nonexistence of a study on the political and social acting of Josefa Digna Elías Ríos among 1952-1958 file the holistic vision of his transcendency in the society in Bayamo. For the before exposed this investigation seeks an approach to the topic starting from the analysis of this figure.
