Abstract

Se realizó la investigación para conocer sobre el quehacer científico y pedagógico de la holguinera y doctora en Ciencias, María Virginia González Guitián, con el objetivo de elaborar un producto informativo para la socialización de su vida y obra como personalidad de la educación superior en la provincia de Holguín. El estudio se estructuró en tres capítulos: en el primero, los fundamentos teóricos conceptuales sobre los estudios biobibliográficos, segundo la descripción de la metodología aplicada y en el tercero, la biobibliografía. Se aplicaron los métodos teóricos y empíricos, biográfico y la historia de vida como herramienta fundamental del método. Se describió una cronología en la que se describieron por años lo acontecido en su existencia, una bibliografía activa ordenada alfabéticamente por diferentes portadores y una cronológica con los asientos bibliográficos correspondientes a cada una. Se realizaron los índices de título y materia que permitieron recuperar la información contenida en el cuerpo del trabajo y se incluyeron condecoraciones recibidas, opiniones emitidas por personas que han estado cerca de ella y acontecimientos memorables que la marcaron de manera significativa en su vida. The research was carried out to learn about the scientific and pedagogical work of María Virginia González Guitián, from Holguín and doctor of Sciences, with the aim of developing an informative product for the socialization of her life and work as a personality of higher education in the province. from Holguin.
