Metodología para la gestión de la innovación tecnológica (IT) en empresas turísticas. Aplicación parcial en el Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca

Abstract

Las empresas turísticas se encuentran en un entorno altamente competitivo y cambiante. Hoy se demandan productos, procesos, servicios y métodos organizativos de excelencia. Por tanto es imprescindible valorar el desarrollo de la gestión de la innovación tecnológica como un importante medio para afrontar estos retos. La propuesta desarrollada tiene como objetivo diseñar y aplicar parcialmente una metodología para gestionar la innovación tecnológica en empresas del sector turístico. Se utilizaron diversos métodos teóricos de la investigación científica tales como: análisis y síntesis, inductivo- deductivo, sistémico estructural, modelación, así como algunos métodos empíricos de búsqueda de información, métodos de expertos y métodos estadísticos. El contenido del Trabajo de Diploma expone el marco teórico de la investigación, en el que se abordan los conceptos y enfoques sobre la temática objeto de estudio; así como los aportes y carencias de los modelos para la gestión de la IT, que de acuerdo a las condiciones concretas manifiestas en las empresas turísticas demuestran la existencia de un problema científico a resolver. Se describe la metodología propuesta y su aplicación parcial en una empresa representativa del sector, lo cual permite validar la hipótesis de investigación. La novedad científica se refleja en la creación de una metodología que vincula, desde un enfoque estratégico, las seis funciones básicas de la gestión de la innovación y en la proposición de indicadores para su evaluación y mejora. Todo ello adaptado a las condiciones y exigencias del Sistema de Dirección y Gestión Empresarial Cubano.

Tourist companies are in a highly competitive and changing environment. Products, processes, services and organizational methods of excellence are demanded today. Therefore it is indispensable to value the development of the management of the technological innovation as a very important mean to face these challenges. The objective of this investigation is to design a methodology to manage technological innovation in tourist enterprises. Several theoretical methods of the scientific investigation were used such as: analysis and synthesis, inductive - deductive, systemic structural, modulation, as well as some empiric methods of search of information, experts' methods and statistical methods. The content of the thesis exposes the theoretical mark of the investigation, in which the concepts and focuses are approached on the thematic study object; as well as the contributions and lacks of the models for the management of technological innovation that according to the concrete conditions shown in tourist enterprises, demonstrates the existence of a scientific problem to solve. The proposed methodology and its partial application in a representative company of the sector are described, which allowed to validate the investigation hypothesis. The scientific novelty of the investigation is reflected in the creation of a methodology that link, from a strategic focus, the six basic functions of the management of the innovation, and in the proposition of indicators for its evaluation and improvement. Everything adapted to the conditions and demands of the Cuban System of Enterprises Management.
