La Vida cotidiana en el término municipal de Banes: una visión desde el Diario El Pueblo (1915 - 1918)

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo revelar los aspectos esenciales de la vida cotidiana en Banes (1915-1918) reflejadas en el Diario EL PUEBLO. Para el estudio de este tema se han empleado y privilegiado los métodos de investigación teóricos: el análisis y crítica de fuentes y el hermenéutico. Estos permitieron elaborar inferencias a partir de los datos empíricos y elaboraciones teóricas contenidas en las fuentes bibliográficas y documentales consultadas. El segundo propició a través del análisis del texto, el contenido y el discurso dentro delperiódico EL PUEBLO entre 1915 y 1918. La tesis es novedosa al revelar que en la historiografía cubana se limitan los estudios sobre el desarrollo de la vida cotidiana en la mayor parte de las regiones históricas que la componen y Banes no es excepción de ello. Esta investigación contribuye a cerrar esta brecha epistemológica proporcionando un análisis sobre el desarrollo de la vida cotidiana en Banes entre 1915 y 1918 usando como fuente primaria esencial una publicación seriada.

This investigation has got the objective to reveal the essential aspects of the everyday life in Banes from 1915 to 1918, reflected on the daily newspaper “EL PUEBLO” (The People). To study this theme we have used and privileged the methods of theoretic investigation: the analysis and critics of sources and the hermeneutic. They allowed to develop inferences from the empiric data and theoretic elaborations in the bibliographic and documentary sources consulted. And the second one supplied, through the analysis of the text, the content and the speech into the newspaper EL PUEBLO (The People) between 1915 and 1918. The thesis is innovative for reveals that the Cuban historiography is limited on the studies about the development of the everyday life in most of the historical regions which make them up and Banes is not an exception. This searching contributes to close this epistemological breach in the development in the everyday life in Banes between 1915 and 1918 on an essential primary source a publication series.
