El Aprendizaje contextualizado de la Biología 1 de Secundaria Básica

Abstract

El trabajo reveló la necesidad de propiciar un cambio en la concepción de aprendizaje de la Biología en la Educación Secundaria Básica. El propósito fue contribuir a la formación del estudiante de este nivel de enseñanza a partir del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Biología 1 y asimilen los procesos biológicos que se manifiestan durante las clases. Los métodos empleados consistieron en la revisión de diversas fuentes de información, la observación, encuestas y entrevistas a estudiantes. Sus resultados ofrecieron elementos de importancia a considerar por los docentes en su preparación en aras de hacer un uso más eficiente del aprendizaje contextualizado, llegando a la conclusión de continuar la búsqueda de nuevas concepciones en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Biología.

The work revealed the necessity to propitiate a change in the conception of learning Biology in junior high school. The purpose was to contribute to the formation of the student of this teaching level starting from the teaching-learning process of Subject Biology 1 and understand the biological processes that are explained through the classes. There were applied some methods that consisted of the revision of diverse sources of information, the observation, inquiries, and interviews with the students. The results offered elements of importance to be considered by the teachers in their preparation to make more efficient use of the contextualized learning, concluding to continue to the search of new conceptions in the teaching-learning process of Biology.
