La Clasificación de las ciencias de José de la Luz y Caballero

Abstract

En este artículo el autor ofrece a los lectores un resultado parcial de su investigación histórica sobre la vida y obra del maestro y filósofo cubano de la primera mitad del siglo XIX José de la Luz y Caballero. Se analizan los antecedentes teóricos inmediatos de la clasificación de las ciencias del notable educador, su estructura y contenido como componente de su metodología científica. En virtud de lo afirmado, el objetivo general que orienta el estudio presentado, está dirigido a revelar los fundamentos epistemológicos de la clasificación lucista de las ciencias, y valorar su contribución al progreso de la ciencia durante el periodo de formación nacional en Cuba.

In this article the author offers the readers a partial result of his historic investigation on her life and works of the master and philosopher Cuban of the first half of the century XIX José de la Luz y Caballero. The author examines the antecedent immediate theorists of the classification of the sciences of the notable educator, his structure and contents like component of his scientific methodology. By virtue of what's been said, the general objective that guides the presented study is intented to reveal the epistemological basics of classification lucista of sciences, and to appraise his contribution to the scientific progress during the period of national formation in Cuba.
