| dc.description.abstract | La gestión de la energía es una tarea de vital importancia para cualquier país, debido
a la rapidez con que se agotan las reservas de combustibles y los elevados precios que estos alcanzan en el mercado mundial. La presente investigación se realizó entre junio del 2010 y abril del 2012, en la UEB Central Azucarero Fernando de Dios Buñuel, con el objetivo de elaborar un plan de acción, que puesto en práctica permita
mejorar el comportamiento del factor de potencia en esta industria. En la investigación fueron empleados los siguientes métodos de investigación, teóricos: análisis histórico lógico, de análisis y síntesis, e hipotético – deductivo y entre los métodos empíricos, la observación, la medición de magnitudes eléctricas y la entrevista además de técnicas estadísticas. Con la aplicación del procedimiento para realizar el diagnóstico se determinaron como deficiencias entre otras: El uso de motores sobre dimensionados, la falta de divulgación sobre temas energéticos, el consumo en exceso de reactivo del SEN y que los medios compensadores del factor de potencia instalados en la fábrica son insuficientes. Por lo que se propuso un plan de acción basado en las necesidades de capacitación, sustitución de equipos sobre dimensionados y adquisición e instalación de medios compensadores con su des conectivo automático. Medidas estas que contribuyen a mejorar el comportamiento del factor de potencia, a elevar la eficiencia energética y al ahorro de energía, incidiendo positivamente en un beneficio económico para la organización. With the application of the procedure to accomplish the diagnosis they determined them selves like deficiencies among others: Motive sobredimensionados's use, the lack of divulgation on energetic themes, the consumption in excess of reagent of the SENand than the compensating midways of the power factor installed at the factory are insufficient. For which a plan of action based in the needs of capacitation, team’s substitution was proposed sobre dimensionados and acquisition and half compensator’s installation with his automatic desconectivo.
