| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo se desarrolló en la UBPC de Silva 1 que se encuentra ubicada en el Consejo Popular de Alto Cedro, perteneciente al municipio de Cueto, en el período correspondiente a la primavera de Abril a junio del 2010, sobre un suelo Oscuro Plástico, con el objetivo de evaluar el comportamiento productivo de clones de boniato (CEMSA 78-354, INIVIT B 98-2, INIVIT B 98 -3) en áreas específicas de la entidad productiva, utilizando un diseño experimental de Bloques al Azar; con 3 tratamientos y 3 réplicas. Se midieron los siguientes indicadores: longitud del tallo (cm), peso del tubérculo (g) y el potencial productivo de cada clon. Los resultados alcanzados en
las mediciones fueron procesadas por el paquete estadístico Estatistica ver 2,00 del ICA, 2006 y como existieron diferencias entre los tratamientos se realizó la prueba de Duncan para el 5% de significación Observándose un mejor comportamiento en los parámetros expresados por el Clon INVIT 98-3, considerando que en gran parte estos se deben a la adaptabilidad del mismo a las condiciones de los suelos Oscuros Plásticos, siguiéndole el clon INVIT B-98-2 y donde mostró los
