Propuesta de líneas estratégicas para el desarrollo del Turismo de Cruceros en el destino Holguín

Abstract

El turismo de crucero es la modalidad turística de mayor crecimiento en el mercado de viajes de placer. Históricamente, el Caribe ha estado posicionado entre los destinos de mayor preferencia para los cruceristas. Nuestro país, presenta condiciones favorables para el desarrollo de esta modalidad. El desarrollo del crucerismo en Cuba se ve afectado por las restricciones del Gobierno de los Estados Unidos. El Plan de Desarrollo 2012-2016 del destino turístico holguinero parte de la consideración de premisas, entre la que se destaca que deberán ofrecerse paquetes de servicios cada vez más integrados, diversificando y diferenciando la oferta, en correspondencia con el potencial de recursos y atractivos turísticos del territorio (Lineamiento 260). La presente investigación está encaminada al ajuste de un procedimiento para el diseño de líneas estratégicas en correspondencia con las características de esta modalidad turística y su aplicación para la realización del diagnóstico, líneas estratégicas y acciones. Con este trabajo se facilita la toma de decisiones comerciales para el desarrollo del turismo de cruceros en el destino Holguín.

The cruise tourism is the tourist modality of more growth in the market of trips of pleasure. Historically, the Caribbean has been positioned among the destinations of more preference for the tourists. Our country, presents good conditions for the development of this modality. The development of the modality in our country is affected by the restrictions of the Government from the United States. The Plan of Development 2012-2016 of the Holguín destination tourist leave of the consideration of premises, among which stands out that they will offer packages of more and more integrated services, diversifying and differentiating the offer, in correspondence with the potential of resources and tourist attractiveness of the territory (Limit 260). The present investigation is guided to the adjustment of a procedure for the design of strategic lines in correspondence with the characteristics of this tourist modality and its application for the realization of the diagnosis, strategic lines and improvement actions. With this work it is facilitated taking of commercial decisions for the development of the tourism of cruises in the destination Holguín.
