| dc.description.abstract | En los últimos años las producciones de leche en el municipio de Mayarí se han incrementado lentamente debido a los bajos ingresos de los agricultores, el cambio climático y el aumento sostenido en los precios de los alimentos para ganado. En el presente trabajo se muestran los resultados obtenidos en la investigación
realizada en la CPA Revolución de octubre, perteneciente a la Empresa Agropecuaria Guatemala, con el objetivo de evaluar la organización del proceso productivo, el manejo y alimentación del ganado vacuno en la producción de leche, las características del sistema de pastoreo extensivo empleado en el 2009,comparándolo con el sistema extensivo con suplementación empleado en los años 2010 y 2011, evidenciándose un incremento en la proporción de litros de leche por vacas en ordeño, el análisis de las precipitaciones durante el periodo de investigación se hizo para evaluar el crecimiento, tanto de los pastos naturales como de los bancos de gramíneas y leguminosas, observándose un rendimiento notable a favor de las épocas lluviosas. Para conocer las fortalezas y debilidades como factores internos y las amenazas y oportunidades como factores externos se evaluaron los resultados de la matriz DAFO y para analizar la calidad de la leche se tuvieron en cuenta los indicadores de calidad según los resultados del muestreo, se
hizo además la valoración económica que mostró resultados satisfactorios, el desarrollo de sus etapas permitió llegar a las conclusiones y recomendaciones de este trabajo que servirán para que la dirección de la unidad mejore su desempeño en lo que se refiere a la organización. The productions of milk in Mayarí municipality have been increased slowly due to the low revenues of the farmers, the climatic changes and the increase sustained in the prices of food for the livestock in the las years. This work shows the obtained results in this research carried out in the “CPA October´s Revolution”. into practice in 2009, comparing with the extensive system put it into practice in the years 2010 and 2011, being evidenced an increment in the proportion of liters of milk for cows, the analysis of the precipitations during the period of research was made to evaluate the growth of the natural grasses as the griminess and leguminous banks. It was observed a remarkable yield in favor of the rainy times to know the strengths and the weakness like internal factors and the treats and opportunities like external factors were evalrrated the results of DAFO´s matrix and to analyze the quality of the milk was taking into consideration the indicators of quality according to the results of the sample. It was made and economical valoration, that shws positive result, the development of the stages allowed arrive to conclusions and recommendations of this work.
