Análisis de la eficiencia del proceso de formación de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Holguín
Abstract
La investigación se realizó en la Universidad de Holguín Oscar Lucero Moya con el
objetivo de profundizar en las causas que inciden en la baja eficiencia académica y
vertical de este centro de estudios. Se explican y calculan las eficiencias académica y
vertical, y su relación con las características de la vida académica universitaria en el
contexto del proceso docente, en la facultad de Ingeniería Industrial con el propósito de
ahondar en las principales causas que inciden en las mismas tomando como punto de
partida los últimos 5 años y las últimas 3 cohortes. Se ha orientado al uso del Método
General de Solución de Problemas (MGSP), de la herramienta Excel para procesar y
hacer los cálculos pertinentes de importancia para la investigación, así como el software
SPSS vs. 15.0 para el procesamiento de la encuesta aplicada. Además del uso de
indicadores para el cálculo de la eficiencia vertical y académica como son los índices de
promoción con el objetivo de identificar y verificar algunas de las causas que más
inciden en el problema detectado.
Sobre la base del análisis realizado se señalan los bajos valores de eficiencia para un
58% la vertical y un 50% la académica, así como la causa más influyente en este
sentido siendo la insuficiencia académica del estudiante y su falta de hábito de estudio.
Se realizó un análisis económico y social del problema objeto de investigación y se
relacionó un conjunto de soluciones posibles a aplicar para el mejoramiento del
indicador eficiencia The investigation was carried out in the University of Holguín Oscar Lucero Moya with
the objective of deepening in the causes that impact in the drop academic and vertical
efficiency of this center of studies. It was explained and calculate the academic and
vertical efficiencies, and their relationship with the characteristics of the academic life
university student in the context of the educational process, in the department of
Industrial Engineering with the purpose of deepening in the causes main that impact in
the same ones taking as starting point the last 5 years and the last 3 cohorts. It has
been guided to the use of the General Method of Problems Solution (MGSP), of the tool
Excel to process and to make the pertinent calculations of importance for the
investigation, as well as the software SPSS vs. 15.0 for the prosecution of the interviews
applied. Besides the use of indicators for the calculation of the vertical and academic
efficiency as promotion indexes with the objective of to identify and to verify some of the
causes that more impact in the detected problem.
On the base of the carried out analysis values of efficiency are pointed out for 58% the
vertical one and 50% the academic one, as well as the most influential cause in this
sense being the student's academic inadequacy and their lack of study habit. It was
carried out an economic analysis of the problem investigation object and it was related a
group of solutions possible to apply for the improvement of the efficiency indicator
