Valoración crítica de la Disciplina Principal Integradora del Plan de Estudio “E” en la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Primaria

Abstract

La mejora del currículo para la formación de docentes constituye un desafío apremiante para los claustros universitarios. En este contexto es perentorio el análisis crítico de programas de disciplinas académicas, de su concepción didáctica, coherencia y aportación al itinerario formativo de carrera. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo socializar la valoración crítica de la Disciplina Principal Integradora del Plan de Estudio “E” en la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Primaria. En el plano metodológico se construyeron de forma operativa criterios para valorar disciplinas académicas que emplea, como método fundamental el análisis documental. Sus resultados se triangulan con la sistematización de experiencias, técnicas de investigación cualitativa y métodos teóricos. Los resultados fundamentales lo constituyen: la identificación de las debilidades del programa y las acciones de continuidad desde el trabajo metodológico y la investigación curricular; todo ello en coherencia con el actual perfeccionamiento de la Educación Superior cubana.

Improving the curriculum for teacher training is a pressing challenge for the university staffs. In this context, critical analysis of academic discipline programs, their didactic conception, coherence and contribution to the career training itinerary is imperative. The objective of this article is to socialize the critical assessment of the Main Integrative Discipline of the Study Plan "E" in the Bachelor of Primary Education career. At the methodological level, criteria were constructed in an operative way to assess academic disciplines that use documentary analysis as a fundamental method, their results are triangulated with the systematization of experiences, qualitative research techniques and theoretical methods. The fundamental results are the identification of the weaknesses of the program and the continuity actions from the methodological work and the curricular research; all this in coherence with the current improvement of Cuban Higher Education.
