Pautas para desarrollar, desde la escuela, la sensibilidad del sujeto en relación con las áreas protegidas

Abstract

Los objetivos de la investigación quedaron formulados en los siguientes términos: sistematizar una concepción teórica y metodológica que sustente el desarrollo, desde la escuela, de la sensibilidad por la biodiversidad y las áreas protegidas, y comprobar la pertinencia de desarrollar la sensibilidad por la biodiversidad y las áreas protegidas en estudiantes de enseñanzas seleccionadas. Se aplicaron métodos propios del nivel teórico del conocimiento, como el analítico – sintético, inductivo – deductivo y enfoque de sistema, para valorar información obtenida mediante el análisis documental, opiniones aportadas por expertos y experiencias registradas por los autores en proyectos investigativos no experimentales. Se expusieron resultados relacionados con el desarrollo de la sensibilidad por el medio ambiente y las áreas protegidas, en estudiantes de Secundaria Básica y docentes de Ciencias Naturales en formación, como parte de un proyecto de investigación ejecutado por la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas “José Martí”, por encargo del Programa Ramal 11 del Ministerio de Educación. Se constataron cambios en la integridad sensible de los educandos, que se expresaron en el ámbito sensorial, afectivo, estético y ético.

The paper describes the findings of a study sponsored by the Ministry of Education, carried out by “José Martí” Pedagogical University as part of a larger research project, in which the following objectives were established: to systematize a theoretical and methodological conception that supports the development, from the school, of the sensibility towards biodiversity and protected areas, and at the same time, to verify the relevance of developing this awareness in selected students from different levels. Different theoretical methods were used, like the analysis – synthesis, inductive – deductive, and system approach, in order to evaluate the obtained information through the documentary analysis and the experts’ opinions, as well as the experiences recorded by the authors in non – experimental research projects. Changes in the development of the sensibility regarding the protection of the environment and protected areas were evidenced on the students of secondary education and on of those in formation of Natural Sciences, expressed in the sensitive, affective, esthetics and ethics dimensions.
