Caracterización de la evaluación de la calidad de la formación inicial del profesor de Inglés

Abstract

Este artículo presentó uno de los temas de mayor actualidad para el Sistema de Educación Cubano: la evaluación de la calidad de la formación inicial de profesores. De manera particular, se vinculó con el proceso formativo de los estudiantes de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación, especialidad de Lengua Inglesa. El artículo introdujo una caracterización histórica acerca de cómo se ha desarrollado la evaluación de la calidad de la formación inicial de los estudiantes de dicha especialidad. Para ello se emplearon diversos métodos, tales como: análisis y síntesis, histórico y lógico, consultas a fuentes orales y análisis de documentos. De dicho estudio se determinaron regularidades en la evaluación de la calidad de la formación inicial del profesor de Lengua Inglesa en las Universidades Pedagógicas.

This work presented one of the most updated topics for the Cuban Educational System: the evaluation of the quality of the initial formation of professors. The paper was specifically related to the formative process of the students of the Specialty in Education, in Foreign Languages. The article introduced a historical study about how the evaluation of the initial formation of the students of such specialty has been carried out. Different research methods were applied, such as: analysis and synthesis, historical and logical method, analysis of documents and consult of personal sources. This search lead to some regularities in the evaluation of the quality of the initial formation of professors of English in the University of Pedagogical Sciences of Holguín.
