Las Ideas éticas en las figuras de Enrique José Varona y José Martí Pérez

Abstract

En Cuba, la ética cuenta con una plataforma teórico-metodológica elaborada sobre la base de los fundamentos de una escuela cubana que se sustenta en los aportes ofrecidos por los fieles exponentes del pensamiento pedagógico cubano del siglo XIX. La Educación Primaria tiene amplias potencialidades en el currículo escolar para abordar, inculcar y transmitir las ideas de la mayoría de esas personalidades en favor de la educación de valores morales. Por la importancia que le concedieron a los problemas de la ética y de la moral en los períodos históricos que les correspondió vivir, en el artículo se presentan las ideas más revelantes que abordaron las figuras de Enrique José Varona y José Martí Pérez. El primero, en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX; en la tercera parte de sus Conferencias Filosóficas (1882) que le permitió alcanzar el grado de Dr. en Filosofía y Letras (en 1893), con el título “La moral positivista y la moral evolucionista”. El segundo, en todos los momentos de su vida; su ideario moral constituye la cumbre del pensamiento ético cubano. El trabajo constituye un material de consulta para todos los docentes del territorio y para los estudiantes en formación de los Institutos Superiores Pedagógicos.

In Cuba, the ethics has a theoretical-methodological support elaborated on the base of the foundations of a Cuban school that is sustained in the contributions offered by the faithful exponents of the Cuban pedagogical thought of the XIX century. Primary Education has wide potentialities in the school curriculum to approach, to foster, and to transmit the ideas of most of those personalities in favor of the formation of moral values. For the importance that they granted to the problems of ethics and morals in the historical periods they lived in the most relevant devises treated by Enrique José Male and José Martí Pérez it plows presented in this work. The first one, in the second half of the XIX century; in the third part of his Philosophical lectures (1882) that allowed him to reach the degree of Dr. in Philosophies and Arts (in 1893), 2with the title "The positivist moral and the evolutionist one" and, in all the moments of his life, his moral ideals constitute the summit of the Cuban ethical thought. The work constitutes a consulting material for all the educational personnel of the territory and for all the students in formation of the Pedagogical College.
