La Educación para la salud: un reto en la formación del profesional

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se precisa e ilustra la labor educativa realizada con un grupo de estudiantes del primer año intensivo de la Especialidad de Educación Preescolar relacionada con la educación para la salud, la cual constituye un objetivo priorizado del Ministerio de Educación (MINED). El punto de partida lo constituyó el diagnóstico inicial que se aplicó al iniciar el curso escolar 2007-2008, que evidenció las limitaciones que tenían los estudiantes en cuanto al conocimiento sobre las drogas, el alcoholismo, el tabaquismo, la violencia, el sexo y los accidentes. Los resultados condujeron al diseño y puesta en práctica de diversas acciones educativas en el componente académico, laboral e investigativo, por vía curricular y extracurricular.

The present work deals with a precise and illustrated way of an educative yak carried out by a group of student’s from the intensive first year of the Pre School specially. It is focused to Health Education essential objective of education and promotion for Ministry of Education (MINED). It had as starting point the diagnose results applied at the beginning of the course, that showed the problem state in relation to the knowledge acquired by the students concerning to drogs, alcoholism, smoking, sex, violence, and accidents. The final results gave us he opportunity to design and to put into practice some Educative Actions to be performed in the academic, laboral and investigative components with curricular an extracurricular going out.
